About
We Don’t Do Delicate
Carter Dangerfield started with one simple rule:
If it feels flimsy in the hand, it doesn’t leave the bench.
We make heavy metal kit for people who like their gear to have some weight and a bit of attitude. No faux-vintage, no pretend toughness – just honest metal, clean lines and hardware that looks like it could survive a tour of duty.
Workshop, Not Factory
Everything starts as brutal metal bar and plate in our workshop in Britain.
We cut, press and machine each piece, then bring it to life with:
- Fly presses and vices, not plastic moulds
- Fiber lasers for engraving and marking
- Brushed and satin finishes on the wheel
- Edges linished by hand so they feel right in the fingers
Small batches only. If it carries the Carter Dangerfield mark, someone’s stood over it, checked it, and decided they’d be happy to carry it themselves.
Built Like Field Gear
We think about our pieces the way an armourer thinks about armour:
- Simple, robust shapes that won’t date in six months
- No hollow, no shortcuts – the weight is real
- Hardware that can be thrown in a pocket, dropped, scuffed and still look better for it
This isn’t fashion jewellery. It’s everyday carry, in metal.
Made to Earn Its Scars
Brass marks, darkens and takes on patina. Good. We design for that.
Every scratch, ding and rub is proof of miles travelled and nights out survived. If you ever want to reset it, you can polish it back – but most people don’t. They let the story stay on the surface.
Who It’s For
Carter Dangerfield is for the person who likes:
- A money clip that feels like it could stop a door
- A pendant that actually has some mass to it
- Hardware that looks as good under a suit as it does under a battered leather jacket
If you’re done with fragile, over-polished nonsense, you’re in the right place.

Heavy metal. Clean lines. Built to take a hit. No shine without scars.
